Sue Gruen

Sue Gruen graduated from the UW-Madison with a concentration in Family Mental Health Systems. She has the additional CAPSW license for clinical family mental health. Prior to receiving her professional counseling license, Sue Gruen volunteered for 17 years in Christian Lay counseling. During this time, she developed a single parents empowerment group, and initiated DivorceCare and Stephen Ministry programs for her church.

Sue Gruen was the founding Director of The Elizabeth House, Madison, residential maternity home for homeless single mothers, in 2003. Sue specializes in healing for the following: Physical, Sexual or Emotional Abuse; Trauma; Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar; Anger and Un-forgiveness; Workplace Issues; Relationships; Marriage Preparations; Marriage Counseling; Parenting; Divorce and Step-Parenting.

Sue Gruen is currently teaching the Rebuilding-Divorce Class with Helen Feaster. Sue has professional experience teaching pre-marriage and divorce classes. Sue has also been through a divorce herself, but is now happily married in a blended family for 21 years.
